Weekend

This past weekend we decided to go to Socorro. We haven't been there since January and I was really excited to go back, mostly to see my family and eat some delicious Socorro food. We were going to go Friday, but because Friday is my late day at the bank and because it was snowing, we decided to take the trip on Saturday instead.

What a good trip! We literally got to see and spend time with everyone of our family members in Socorro and eat at all the best restaurants!

Saturday we had lunch with my parents and then hung out with Ryan's mom, sisters and grandparents for the rest of the evening. We all had a really great time!!

We spent the night at my parents, went to church in the morning and then hung out with Ryan's other grandpa on Sunday afternoon. We left around 3 and then met Ryan's dad, who was driving in from TX, in Albuquerque for a delish dinner at the Outback.

After dinner we headed to Sears.... And then.... WE bought an OVEN! I was soo excited about this!! We have a double wall oven in our house, but it is super old and has been broken since we moved in. The movers knocked one of the knobs off while they were moving in our couch and I have yet to find a knob to replace it because of it's age. We have been using the smaller of the two ovens since then. Which isn't horrible, but it will be sooo very nice to have a new one! (Next year's tax return will go to a new stove, because it is equally as old and ugly, but everything still works, so it can wait until next year.)

So that was our exciting weekend. Our double oven should come in this week and we may go pick it up on Saturday! Whoo hoo!
