The beginning of 2010 Ryan and I were asked to be my little baby cousin, Isabella Grace's Godparents. It was such an incredible honor and we love Isabella so much! The ceremony was amazing and we were so thankful to be apart of her special day.
We had been thinking of adding an additional doggy to our Waggoner brood for some time, because we thought our Bailey dog needed a friend. After much debating and searching in March we drove to the Animal Humane Society of Albuquerque and adopted a puppy. We named him Bodie. While, he isn't always the most well behaved dog, he has been a good addition to the family and we love him very much. :)
I have continued to coach soccer this year and thoroughly LOVE every aspect of it. I coached four different soccer teams in 2010 and I am already looking forward to the Spring 2011 season. I also got on the local AYSO soccer board as their Public Relations person.
In July for my 25 birthday we decided to go to Las Vegas. I had never been to sin city before and we had a great little trip.
In August we headed to Utah to visit Ryan's mom and sisters. We had a fun road trip with Ryan's little brother and his fiance and a great visit with everyone in Utah! Below is a picture of Ryan with his sister Rebecca during our Utah trip.
We hosted Thanksgiving at our house this year and had a really great time. I thoroughly enjoy cooking and hosting and look forward to many more holidays in our home.
In December we headed to Dallas to visit Ryan's dad, step mom and sisters. We had an amazing trip with lots of shopping :) and lots of quality family time. Below is a picture of Ryan's sister Katie and I during our Dallas trip.
Also in December we celebrated 2 years of marriage and 8 years together. Time flies when you are having fun!
Ryan is still working for Peabody Energy at Lee Ranch Coal Mine as a General Foreman and I am still working for the Bureau of Land Management as a Park Ranger for El Malpais National Conservation Area. We are both really enjoying our jobs and the work we are doing!
We have met so many amazing people in Grants and we are definitely starting to feel like we are part of the community. We are truly grateful for all of our wonderful friends and family and we are looking forward to an amazing 2011.
